Khairan AGM

Second Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Khairan Welfare Association Inc. to be held at Seaton Community Centre. Apart from an overview of last two year’s activities and future planned activities, election of representatives and office bearers for the next 2-year period will be conducted. Status update on Khairan College project will also be provided.

Khairan Cricket Club Grand Finals

Khairan Cricket Club has proudly reached the Grand Finals of the LMS tournament! This is a moment of great achievement, and we invite everyone to join us in celebrating this milestone. Come together with family and friends to cheer for our team as they compete for the ultimate victory. Let’s show our support, boost their morale, and create an electrifying atmosphere as we unite in the spirit of sportsmanship and community. Together, we can make this event truly unforgettable!

Al-Khalil Masjid Open Day

Al-Khalil Open Day was held on Sunday, 15th December 2024—a wonderful opportunity for Dawah. Non-Muslim colleagues and neighbors were invited to the Masjid to learn about Islam, strengthen community bonds, and dispel misconceptions. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “Convey from me, even if it is one verse” (Bukhari), and “If Allah guides one person through you, it is better than the most valuable red camels” (Bukhari & Muslim). The event aimed to share the message of Islam with insight and kindness.

Khairan Cricket evening

Cricket Evening was organised by Khairan on 3rd August 2024 which was hugely successful with the participation of the youngsters from the community. It was followed by the establishment of Khairan Cricket Club. Khairan team got registered with ‘Last Man Stands’ (LMS) and started playing league matches. It won the first two matches on 18th August 20204 and 25th August 2024 playing against well-established teams, Telstra Half Trackers and Adelaide All Stars respectively.
